Job Summary
Cider Bite is currently seeking to expand its Cider Crew. We’re looking for upbeat and positive individuals with superior people skills and a desire to provide our patrons with the best experience possible. An ideal candidate understands the importance of product knowledge, sales and customer engagement. All Cider Bite Cider Crew are expected to learn our menus, especially our rotating tap list at a high level in order to speak competently about what we offer. We are seeking a team player that is self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and flexible; someone with a strong work ethic and who values personal integrity.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Brand awareness: customer engagement and effective communication of brand and product line
- Prepping, cooking, and serving food, general knowledge of safe food handling, heating, cooling, and serving procedures and regulations
- Dish-washing and general cleaning
- Alcohol, food, and other retail product sales and service to patrons while assisting and providing break-coverage for bartenders
- Keep back of the house areas neat and clean
- Maintain 100% customer satisfaction at all times
- Provide timely and high quality service the first time
- Resolving any customer problems in a quick and courteous manner
- Encourage repeat business by providing every customer with great service and a positive experience
- Abiding by state food handling and liquor control regulations, including monitoring customers to ensure they are not over served alcohol
Qualifications and Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing manner with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Good observation skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Shifts: Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends (Fridays & Saturdays)
Required experience:
- 1 year of equivalent or applicable work experience
- Experience with handling cash and point of sale
Certifications:
- Food Handlers certificate (required by first day)
- Alcohol Servers permit preferred
